Just on a side note here, back in my nooby days, i remember thinking that flare was the worst ability for hunters ever. i never trained in it till level 50 or something. lawl

Anyway, cuz I’m a sub rogue, steal thing in mid battle is a key to victory. Unfortunately, your flare is incredible at eliminating that. I just want to ask, how long does it last, and what’s the cool down?

It’s Rogue, not Rouge you freak.Got it fixed myself, had to relogin a couple of times. Seems like it was some kind of weird glitch.that sounds like something that you should get ahold of a GM about. look for the little red question mark on the bottom of your screen, select open a ticket, and look for the topic that this pertains to. I’m sorry. But Petopi-what?I have a little problem with my pet(s), I can’t charm any pets because it says that I already have too many. when I try call beast does it say I don’t have one, with revive beast does it only say that my pet isn’t dead, and I don’t have any stables.
Why this happends I don’t know, maybe there is some delay because I have lost kinda many pets lately I dunno

Sayis is right. It should be the reason you like. I personally use elves almost exclusively. For the horde my only other race that I like is Undead. As for Alliance I like NE humans are cool for locks and Draenai (only female) for non healing classes. Though Draenai pali seems like a tempting option.
I have 1 male draenai and I hate how they look. So I don’t play him very much. I also will not make another cloth wearer or one that looks like they are wearing cloth (AKA druid) cause I don’t like my male chars wearing skirts. There Final gear just looks so stupid on the guys.

Two heads = Troll

… really, though. Tauren and Blood Elf racials are useful when enemies get in close range. Troll and Orc racials are useful against targets at a distance.

You normally want to spend your points in the best possible way. So if a talent is not very good, don’t spend points for obtaining it.
That essentially answers your question.
You want the most out of your talent points, so going for all talents of one tree does not allow you to chose the talents of the other two trees.
Since the talents usually (but not always) get better, the deeper you go into a tree, you don’t spend to much points on the first tiers to have enough points for the good higher tier talents.
Usually the best way to spend your points is to go for a 41-talent in one tree and then put the rest of your talent points into a second tree.
That is why you will usually see talent build linked like 41/20/0 or 5/43/13 or 5/21/35. Those numbers give the talent points spent into those three trees.
If you want to see some of those builds just browse the first page of this forum. There are a ton of build questions and usually there are some links to talent builds FAQ

Ok, I am fairly certain this specific thing hasn’t been covered anywhere, because I’m an idiot who doesn’t grasp the simplest things. But it’s like this.
I’m speccing Beast Mastery. However, up until last night I’d not understood something, but I think I do now. But before I conclude I have it clear, I’ve come here.
Am I supposed to spend Talent Points in every single option under the BM window? You know how at the top are two boxes, one is Improved Aspect of the Hawk and the other is Endurance Training. My brain seemed to interpret these as two starting points for two (or more) different paths within the BM spec. So far, I’ve only been spending Talent Points in the things that improve pets.
Yet last night, I decided to add up all the numbers of the things within BM (you know, the max allowable purchases per item) and….they added up to 60. So that tells me having so far skipped improved hawk/monkey, focused fire and pathfinding was a stupid, noobish mistake on my part.
Am I correct in my assumption? I am to put Talent Points to the max in every single option under the BM spec? Or choose a path within it?
Sorry for the longwinded post. Nobody would answer the question within the game so I decided to come here. Thanks for reading -Thrall Realm

Speaking for myself, I went to do the horseman just to check it out
and maybe get a mount, and in the time I was there it dropped several times.
Short answer, hell just pick it up. It drops all the time, you’re likely to
be in a PUG, and most people will probably be more interested in trying to ninja
the flying brooms anyway.
That being said, I for myself didnt bother. I have blue rings which I find to be
better from a PvE perspective, right now it’s Slayer’s Mark of the Redemption and Band of Anguish that I will try to upgrade to the marginally better Kaylaan’s Signet once I get a group. If you do raids, you’ll find better epic rings there.
If nothing else, take it for stamina gear. Maybe you’ll be tanking at Maulgar
someday, or some other encounter needs a hp boost. Or pvp, until you can get the
honor stuff.
Bottom line, it’s easy to get, drops all the time, just take it
Was wondering if this ring is worth keeping for a pve raiding gear

Shot rotation is a complex subject, and too involved for this thread, but it’s not at all accurate to say that “slower is BETTER” for shot rotations. A BM Hunter with a 15 quiver/pouch is well served by a ranged weapon with a speed in the area of 2.7 – 2.9. Any faster or slower and clipping or dead time starts to negatively impact your DPS.

I’m not particularly good with math either, but that much I can say for certain. As a BM hunter, with 20 speed increase and a 15 quiver, what would my attack speed be using Gladiator’s X-bow?

Windserpent Lightning Breath and scorpids Scorpid Poison (or whatever it’s called) have been nerfed.
Ravagers are the highest dps pets there are atm, closely followed by (gore>claw by a small margin). The difference is nowhere near enough to make or break a fight, so stick with your cat if you like it.
Boar Charge is wicked though, and some swear by their piggys in the arena solely because of that.
Survivability is not an issue. I have yet to see my pet die in the arena. OK, slight exaggeration, but still.
Personally, I use a carrion bird. Mostly for sentimental reasons, but it also flaps in peoples faces and bugs the hell out of them, and it has a nice ap debuff.
But mostly because I’m too lazy to tame a ravager.
Oh by the way, I don’t mean to come off like a prick, but remeber to Capitalize, punctuate. and use the Return key
. And not too much teh, meh etc. It keeps it readable, and most of all, it will keep you from getting flamed.
Why not just do your dailies so that you can afford a respec every so often, and have a good build for each instead of a crappy build that covers all areas? Doing the Netherwing dailies from honored and down, your BG daily, and the normal and heroic dailies, you will get around 140 gold, per day, which is enough to afford to respec for arena once your done your raids for the week, and back once they reset.Raid AND Arena?
I could think of a better spec for raid…. and I could think of a better one for Arena. But as far as both?

hmmm and no wyvern sting..All the pvp builds that i saw in this foroum dont have the wyvern sting..why? instant cast and 950 dmg…I believe is the only pure cc that hunters have..
1=intimidate is in next succesfull attack..that means you dont know when..
2=traps is when the opposite player fall in trap..that means maybe never..
3= scatter shot..only 4 sec and in less range than wyvern
4=silencing shot only 3 sec and it works only in spell class..not in warriors the most represented class in arena
So lets assume that we are 2 hunters with the previous build i wrote..and we fight with the most common team war/resto druid or war/pally..we stay in a place and we lay 2 traps..if there a pally/war we send the pet to pally..war charge us..fall in 1 trap, triger out fall in next trap..then we going after pally..drain mana on him and when the war is out wyvern sting and trap again..
My point is that..i believe only with wyvern sting we can have a opponent cc all the time..i can give more examples against different teams…how can cc a lock before he fears you if you have only silencing shot?-Cause am i just a girl who wants to have fun ……and play world of cutter 11/41/9 arena build for 2v2 arena.
2/3 entrapment and 2/3 imp. wing clip for 3v3, 3/3 entrap and 1/3 imp. WC for 5v5.- God Emperor of Hunters and Priest Forum Mean Person.

I really like the BM build cause in 1v1 fights i win most of times..But now more and more arenas team have good healers and the key for winning is not burst dps but the cc and drain mana tactic..So i am thinking to change to that build
