My opinion is that if critting somehow matters to you (Go For the Throat, late survival talents) or if you actually get hit a good bit, go for agility. Otherwise stray on the side of AP since it tends to come in double the quantity of agi and is worth a little more than half its damage output value. (I've worked it out as about a 5:3 70 hunter of Dark Legacy, Lightbringer
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
Send me your site feedbackagrees with midnightunless you plan on being a level 49 twink, it doesn't really matter much. Wear whatever will suit your playing style. You can go for mostly Power gear and do a lot of steady, high damage, or your can go a lot of Agility and get a bunch of crits. At level 58, you can grind in the Outlands and get quest gear with AGI, AP and Stamina.
My personal opinion on sub-60 PvE gear is that as long as your main focus is Agi/AP with secondary stats of int/stamina, you're doing just fine.-Ayrianna 80 Nightelf Hunter - Queen of Typos

I'm sorry. But the 2.0 patch agi got nerfed. Now Agi only adds 1 RAP per point. I found it easier to find AP gear that has higher stats. my lvl 44 NE hunter has 482 RAP, and 146 agi. In your opinion should I swich to AGI gear or stay with AP?
I have seen the calculations, I would like some real game input.
