Windserpent Lightning Breath and scorpids Scorpid Poison (or whatever it's called) have been nerfed.
Ravagers are the highest
dps pets there are atm, closely followed by (gore>claw by a small margin). The difference is nowhere near enough to make or break a fight, so stick with your cat if you like it.
Boar Charge is wicked though, and some swear by their piggys in the arena solely because of that.
Survivability is not an issue. I have yet to see my pet die in the arena. OK, slight exaggeration, but still.
Personally, I use a carrion bird. Mostly for sentimental reasons, but it also flaps in peoples faces and bugs the hell out of them, and it has a nice ap debuff.
But mostly because I'm too lazy to tame a ravager.
Oh by the way, I don't mean to come off like a prick,
but remeber to Capitalize, punctuate. and use the Return key
. And not too much teh, meh etc. It keeps it readable, and most of all, it will keep you from getting flamed.
